President McCosh of Princeton has just presented his annual report to the trustees. Several points in it are of general college interest: The proposed extension of the Department of Philosophy is, says Dr. McCosh, Progressing favorably. The number of advanced students in that department this year has been large, and it is expected to increase with the opening of the next season.
