Looking like a giant's roller skate (see cut), the Marsh Buggy has an ordinary Ford V-8 motor coupled to a McCormick Deering tractor gear box and mounted on an expanded automobile frame. The four wheels are air-tight aluminum drums on which are mounted the largest rubber tires ever made for commercial use. Designed by Goodyear, they are 10 ft. high, 3 ft. wide, have a normal pressure of 6 lb. per sq. in. Both axles are pivoted so that each wheel can rise two feet without distorting the frame. ...episodes are subtitled "clutch" and 17 "differential" and apparently the clutch stories deal with people who are hanging on to money, love or dreams, while the differential ones deal with people who are letting go. Each "clutch" episode is introduced with a little discussion called Shift of Gear and followed by one called Universal, made up of technical automotive instructions directly or obliquely related to the material of that particular episode...

...Ford motor is set in reverse position so that the propeller is attached where the clutch normally is when the engine is used on an automobile. Ford Motor Co. has no connection with Arrow, sells motors in batches so that they cost Arrow but $150 apiece, including the conversion gear. So far Arrow has sold some half-dozen planes at $1,500 apiece. As soon as it can meet its production schedule of four planes a day, it expects to cut their price to $1,000 or lower...
