...game brought out the best playing that has been seen on Holmes Field this season. Aside from four errors and a wild throw the 'Varsity played a remarkably steady fielding game. In the second inning, Laughlin, Haughton and McCornick made a neat double play, when Foster hit to Laughlin with Sears on first. Clark seemed to be a little off his form, although he reached first four times out of six at bat, three time on hits. His line drive for a home run past the willows was clearly the squarest hit made on the field this year...

Today Lynch, Burgess, Rand, McCornick, Haughton, Clark, Laughlin, Chandler and Foster will be measured for suits.
