Setting their faces like flint, the judges forthwith ordered Longshoremen Leader Harry Bridges freed from the San Francisco jail where he had been held since Aug. 5 as a threat to U.S. security. The "erosive subversion," the court held, had been caused by the Government when it persuaded District Judge George B.
