Dartmouth starting quarterback Brian Mann had a day to forget. Against a Harvard secondary ranked near the bottom in the country, Mann repeatedly missed wide-open wideouts, completing only 4-of-16 passes for a paltry 31 yards. Unfortunately for Mann, he completed just as many to Harvard defenders. Going into the game, Harvard had intercepted only three passes all season...
...only real evidence of staging are the lazy circles that the actors draw around each other as they pace the grass of the courtyard. And while Anouilh's script can certainly support a minimalist production, this one struggles to establish any sense of atmosphere. It is difficult to forget that one is in the middle of Adams House. The costuming is confusing: most costumes are appropriately spare, but they range incongruously from a generic pink Elizabethan dress for Harrington to the fashionable ensemble of v-neck t-shirt, flat-front chinos, black leather loafers and silver watchtopped tastefully...
...wrong, Midler sounds good. She's a diva in every sense of the word. And God knows she looks good on the album cover. Forget the bulk she carried as Brenda in The First Wives Club. But don't expect the raucous ditties that made her a favorite at the San Francisco bathhouses in the '70s. No "Otto Titsling" or "Knights in Black Leather" on this album. And don't hope for the poignancy of the For the Boys soundtrack, either. Well-done covers of "Shining Star" and "Just My Imagination" are the closest Midler comes to the emotional...

Some people do get into Harvard for reasons, in part, other than their brains, but this, of course, is because no one gets into Harvard just because of their brains. We sometimes forget that Harvard does set basic requirements for anyone who wants to get in. When it comes to academics, those requirements are very high, and no one--let me repeat that--no one gets in who can't meet them...
...also harp on how you are a uniter, not a divider. You seek to "set aside the partisan differences" and to "work together." Of course, your leadership skills and warm smile will cause Republicans and Democrats to hold hands and forget about partisan differences. You will single-handedly unite the Congress because that is what you did in Texas and Texas is a big state...
