...Hosni Mubarak ceded responsibility for the case to the U.S., it could refuse to give the FBI free rein to investigate in Egypt. As Administration diplomats worked overtime to calm tempers and encourage cooperation, NTSB officials retreated. By Friday, chairman James Hall was blaming unauthorized news leaks for "flat wrong" speculation that "caused pain" to victims' families and had "done a disservice" to a long-standing international friendship. But despite the diplomatic delicacy, Hall, the Justice Department and FBI officials remain determined to pursue, on their own if need be, the hypothesis that someone deliberately plunged the plane into...

...C.O.G. has the lingo and feel of urban America, there is little beneath the surface. The album is a blur of repetitive basslines that bleed from one track to the next; the rhymes are lousy, and the braggadocio and self-references that make contemporary rap such flamboyant entertaining falls flat here. It is difficult to distinguish the three group members except that they all fall off rhythm. As a result, the majority of the tracks on the album resemble each other too closely. ...then the Yale Bowl is probably best described as its Wal-Mart equivalent. Opened in 1914, the Bowl now has capacity for over 64,000 fans; at one point, before renovations, it could and, on occasion, did hold over 70,000. The stadium spans 12.5 acres, and its wide, flat, bowl-like design sits in stark contrast to the magnitude of the high-rising Soldiers Field in Allston. This year, as it does every odd year, Walter Camp Field at the Yale Bowl plays host to The Game. Tailgates will open as early as 9 a.m., peak closer...
