...final game, between the Boston Latin and Cambridge Latin School nine, was played yesterday afternoon on Jarvis field, Cambridge winning the game, and thus the cup. Boston Latin was crippled by the loss of their captain, Whittemore, who was one of the best batters on the team. This loss was partially made up to them in the last, half of the first inning, when Chase, the Cambridge catcher, had his finger put out of joint, and was prevented from playing any farther. Stark was put in his place, and played a very good game. Cambridge played the stronger game...
