...tennis tournament yesterday Phillips and Read best Booth and Thomas in the morning with a score of 6-1, 6-2, and thus entered the finals. In the afternoon the final match was played by them with Pier and Dodge on the Carey Court. Throughout the match the playing was excellent on both sides.
