The two editorials at the beginning are very good; especially the one on printed notes, which expresses fairly accurately the general feeling now existing in regard to their use. "The White Corps Leader" is perhaps the best told and most interesting story in the issue. In this the writer has shown that he possesses a thorough knowledge of the way in which dueling is carried on in Germany and the story, moreover, is told in an easy and fluent style.
