Harvard could not advance the ball and Graydon, in attempting to kick, fumbled the ball. Davidson fell on it. Pennsylvania bucked the line a couple of times and then Harvard was penalized ten yards for offside play. This brought the ball to Harvard's 20 yard line. A quarterback kick failed and it was Harvard's ball on her own 15 yard line. Graydon kicked to the 45 yard line. Pennsylvania failed to gain and an exchange of kicks found the ball on Harvard's five yard line...

Gains through the line by Graydon and end runs by Putnam brought the ball to the 5 yard line where again Harvard fumbled. Bates fell back to punt, but the kick was blocked and O'Connell fell on it.
