...Tellegen tries hard in his unfortunate role of Godred and it is not his fault that he does not succeed. He has an attractive personality and dramatic ability, but in this play he is doomed to fail. Miss Olive Tell is miscast as Lady Silchester and the only one of the cast whose merit stands out above the rest is Mr. Sidney Greenstreet, whose characterization of Henry VIII is highly successful...

Several articles in this number of the magazine fall below the standard of literary style which the Illustrated has set for itself and frequently upheld. From this fault the editorials are happily free as is also the interesting treatise by Mr. Forest Izard '08. The editorials are vivacious in their treatment of topics which are not dead but robustly alive. The comment on "Sophomore English," for instance, contains a good deal of interesting news as well as some sound thought. Mr. Izard's notes on the D. U. ...past Wylde in the last five games Harvard has played, and York has been the sensation of the Yale seven throughout the season. He plays coolly, clears away his rebounds in good shape, but occasionally an angle shot for the outside corner gets away from him. ...veteran of two years' experience, and these two have developed an unusually good short passing game. Against them Harvard sends a speedy pair in Percy and Baker. Percy, with his skating, stick-work, and lightning shots, is the most brilliant performer in the forward line, with the one fault of shooting high and sometimes wide. Baker, who has taken Curtis' place, is a very heady player, uses his body well, and is extremely good with his stick...

...Gale, is the mainstay of the defense. Holden, the goal tender, has been on probation until recently. He has the benefit of experience in addition to natural ability, and will be a great addition to the defense. Tyler is a forward of more than ordinary ability, his worst fault being a tendency to keep the puck too much to himself. Geran, last year's Freshman captain, is probably the best man on the Green team, and is especially at home on a big surface such as that in the Arena. All in all, Dartmouth has a very fast, experienced seven...
