...very well sung by each of the principals. The acting of the principals deserves mention, especially that of Slocum and Parker; and the singing of Woods, Lockwood and Parker was very good. The choruses all sang well and were very well trained. The girls were all very beautiful, and Faulkner and Myers were particularly so. Several of the musical selections were original compositions of Bigelow, and he deserves grea credit for the taste shown in selecting the music and the skill with which he conducted the orchestra.
