...University hockey team defeated the Newtowne team on Saturday afternoon by the score of 4 to 1. The game was fast and interesting from beginning to end, but the poor condition of the ice prevented brilliant or very consistent playing. All of Harvard's scoring was done in the first half and her failure to score in the latter part of the game was due more to her own falling off than to any improvement on the part of her opponents. Except for a thin layer of snow the ice was in excellent condition and the cold weather helped to make the playing spirited. Two teams were formed and a game was played which lasted over an hour.
