...University swimming team easily defeated Brown at Providence in a dual meet last night, winning four out of the five events. The most exciting event was the 50-yard dash, won by D. C. Noyes '07, in the fast time of 30 2-5 seconds, a new record for the Brown tank. In the plunge for distance E. H. Sherburne '05 did excellent work, breaking by 2 1-2 feet the tank record of 54 feet. The 100-yard dash was won by E. Farley '07 by five yards. The exhibition of fancy diving by the Harvard team was excellent...
