Yale now imagines that she has the fastest runner in the country. The name of this Yale prodigy who has just presented himself for athletic honors is Brooks, who covered the hundred yards in 10 1-5 seconds, and the two hundred and twenty yards in 22 5/8 seconds. Unfortunately for us, the condition of Mr. Wendell's ankle prevented him from making fast time, but we still have great confidence in our champion, and hope sometime to see him matched against Yale's "fastest in the country."
