Apart from the editorials, this Advocate is divided between four short stories, an article on "Tea Drinking," and thirteen pieces of verse. Of this the prose on the whole is less important than the verse. The light, little, rambling essay on "Tea Drinking," by Mr. Alfred Putnam, has good comment and observation, but it seems less spontaneous than other contributions of the same author to the Advocate.
