This Monday, seven Harvard seniors gave up on a dream. Team Zebra had schemed to transport two live zebras to Harvard Square by midnight on Oct. 17 in order to raise money for natural disaster survivors. But Monday marked the eighth and final day of Team Z’s altruistic attempt at animal acquisition. Should have been easy, right? Apparently not. They can't use electricity from public-utility grids either, which you would think would mean having...

...Harvard varsity heavyweights started their fall campaign in familiar fashion, taking home first place at the Stonehurst Regatta in Rochester, N.Y. The win marked the eighth time the heavyweights have won in Rochester, with 2005 marking the sixth consecutive Stonehurst victory for the Crimson. Facing a strong headwind, the Crimson eight shared the lead with Brown throughout the first mile of the three-mile course but pulled away in the later two-thirds of the head race. A minor seat malfunction with 30 seconds remaining allowed Brown to gain a length on the first-place Harvard boat. The Crimson overcame...
