...statement made in yesterday's papers to the effect that arrangements for football games between University of Pennsylvania and Harvard had been completed, was in advance of the fact. The statement of Professor Thayer was also misquoted. Professor Thayer only expressed the hope that games might be arranged. As early as last January Harvard received an informal letter from Pennsylvania on lining briefly a scheme for games.
