...hands full staying warm. The Crimson, which had an eight-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday, pushes further into a tough December schedule with a game against the Wildcats (14-2-1, 6-1-0 Hockey East) tonight at Bright Hockey Center. Harvard (11-2-0, 9-1-0 ECAC) will then wrap up its series of five non-conference games versus Providence (7-8-3, 5-1-2 HE) on Saturday. The teams’ proximity in the rankings might tell it all in Friday’s matchup, as UNH and Harvard enter the contest with quite similar...

...winning by impressive 3-1 and 4-0 counts. On the season, the Crimson leads the league in both offense and defensive and has outscored opponents 67-16. Individual performances, too, have been stellar. Harvard skaters are at or near the top in almost every category in the ECAC standings. ...Katey Stone said. “We came out of the gates slowly and had to play catch-up the majority of the game. We just didn’t have an inspired effort [last night].”Although both the Crimson (11-2-0, 9-1-0 ECAC) and the Huskies (11-4-1, 7-1-1 Hockey East) still hold first place in their respective leagues, UConn got the better of Harvard, seizing upon the Crimson’s lack of energy to claim a victory.“We’re basically everyone?...

...expect a bump in the new rankings, as all the top teams took care of business this weekend. No. 1 Mercyhurst took two games from Princeton, the second victory a 1-0 overtime nail-biter on Saturday, in which the Lakers outshot the Tigers, 48-9. In the ECAC, St. Lawrence, Clarkson, and Colgate all picked up two wins apiece. No. 3 New Hampshire notched one “W,” and No. 4 Minnesota won a pair. The most intriguing result came courtesy of Harvard’s next opponent, UConn, which knocked...
