That a third volume should now appear, antedating the others in subject matter, suggests the frequent publishing ruse of selling a dull re-hash on the strength of the original success. Nothing of the sort is true in this case, partly because of Burton Hendrick's studied sense of the dramatic, mostly because of the essential fullness of Page's life before he ever thought of ambassadorship.
