...logic." It might be well to add here that we are not all "careful students," nor are we all as confident or self-assured that "Junior's logic is not above the E stamp." Finally, the point is this: The CRIMSON is read by members of the English Department. Doubtless, then, it is both "manly" and expedient for Mr. Gentner to sign his article,- one supporting the position held by the English Department. Doubtless, it is quite as obvious that it would not be expedient for "Junior" to sign his article-one contesting the position held by the English Department...

...football team, together with the substitutes and coaches, will leave Cambridge for Philadelphia, where they will play a game tomorrow with the freshman eleven of the University of Pennsylvania. The game will be played at Franklin Park in Philadelphia. The men are all in first rate condition, and will doubtless put up a strong game against their opponents. The Pennsylvania freshman team is a very strong one, for it takes the place of the 'varsity scrub teams of Princeton and Yale. For practice this team lines up each afternoon against the 'varsity eleven of the University of Pennsylvania. A close...

Shaw, c.; Jaffray and Doucette, r. g.; Donald, r. t.; A. Brewer, r. e.; Borden, q. b.; Wrightington, l. h. b.; C Brewer, r. h. b.; Fairchild...

...very doubtful whether the committee will sanction this game with the freshmen of U. of P. It would be a long, expensive trip even for a 'varsity team. The game has been arranged by the coaches and the matter will doubtless soon be laid before the Athletic Committee. Until this has been done, and the approval of the committee obtained, a game with the Pennsylvania freshmen is only a possibility...
