This weekend's Ivy League Championship Meet at Princeton will be the final regular season competition for the Harvard women's swimming and diving team.
The Crimson's season so far has left more than a few questions still unanswered. Is the Crimson still at the top of the conference? Has the winning tradition of Harvard women's swimming and diving reached an end?
The opposing goalie, Ferguson, played a spectacular game, denying a multitude of Harvard chances in heart-stopping fashion by diving, making kick saves, pad saves, stick saves, all over the crease to hold the Crimson to one goal in the first two periods, despite 27 shots by Harvard.
But nothing panned out for the Saints. Harvard hung tough and Jonas, despite having a few precarious moments diving across the crease, did not have to make any spectacular saves because St. Lawrence's home run passes never connected.
Harvard's offense was flying on Saturday, taking at least 13 shots in each period. But Ferguson--who had never lost to the Crimson before this weekend--was stingy in the crease, stuffing Harvard's top forward line from the doorstep all day and diving from post to post to...
