...Tuesday's paper is a letter endeavoring to explain the poor showing of the Democrats in the recent Harvard-Princeton ballot. I would direct Mr. Frieder to the ballot of the Literary Digest. Here, too--I don't know the actual figures--the Republicans were far in the lead, though, or because, the Literary Digest did everything in its power to make the ballot representative.
