Emboldened by its success in helping defeat four Democratic liberal Senators this year, the National Conservative Political Action Committee announced last week that it has tentatively marked 20 more Senators, including 17 Democrats, for defeat in 1982. One inducement to Egyptian patience is the prospect that elections next year in Israel may bring in a new and more flexible government headed by the Labor Party.
