Cornell's new shell, which was ordered of P. Rough, of Oxford, England, last summer, has arrived in Ithaca. The dimensions of the shell are 62 feet 4 inches long, 22.5 inches beam, 6.5 inches deep at bow, and 5.5 at stern. The length is a little greater than the regular American boat, but it is the narrowest shell in Cornell's stock.
