Wright of Yale cannot be expected to start in both the 440 yards dash and the half mile run. Supposing he chose the latter, Harvard has in Wright, Merrill and Pinkham a formidable trio and it is not absurd to expect them to capture all three places. Merrill and Pinkham will have a hard fight for second place with the chances somewhat in Merrill's favor.
