A short practice game was played yesterday between the Freshman and Brookline High teams. On account of the darkness only one half of thirty minutes was played, in which 1900 scored three times; once on a run of 40 yards by Irwin-Martin.
Time was called in the second half on account of darkness after ten minutes play. But in that time two more touchdowns had been made, one on a sixty yard run by Hatch and the other on a long run by Irwin-Martin. Score, 24 to 0.
In the second half '00 played a much better game, and after considerable punting they took the ball down the field on short rushes till they reached the 10 yd. line, when time was called on account of darkness.
