...flat on my back there was plenty to keep me busy. I noticed they put white paper cloths over the legs of all the girls, presumably to keep the men of Harvard from looking up their skirts. My mistake was to look at the tubing apparatus. What a nice dark red tube they have going from my arm. I thought. Then I realized that was my blood. As I thought of that red stream flowing out of me.
