...first and second graded crews from the Weld raced over the 1 7-8 miles course down stream yesterday afternoon. The first crew gave the second nearly four lengths start and at the finish had mad up a little over three lengths. Both crews rowed well. The chief difficulty in the first seems to be a lack of leg drive at the finish of the stroke and too slow body movement.
