Some time ago we said in this column that of all undergraduate honors the only one that grows greater with age is election to Phi Beta Kappa. That is why we congratulate the men who have been awarded that honor. They have won recognition in that for which a university stands. Now they must strive to maintain the standards set for them by Emerson, Holmes, Everett and the long line of earlier scholars of Harvard Phi Beta Kappa.
