...Thursday evening a meeting of members of all the departments of the University was held in Holden Chapel, to discuss the question of changing the color of the University. Mr. Watson, President H. U. B. C., occupied the Chair, and Mr. G. W. Greene was chosen Secretary. A motion was made by Mr. Clark, '75, that "the color of all departments of the University should be declared to be Crimson."
