...Grenfell's lecture at the Union last evening the suggestion was made by Dr. C. J. Blake that the subscription raised for Dr. Grenfell's work, if sufficient, should be used for a Harvard bed in one of the hospitals which Dr. Grenfell has founded on the Labrador coast. The annual cost of such a bed would be a little over $50 and for this purpose $1200 or $1500 endowment would be necessary. No one should hesitate to send a subscription because it is small.
