Twenty-three men are left in the freshman baseball squad. At present, the team is in great need of a regular coach. Paine '94 takes charge of the coaching as often as he can be spared from the 'varsity, but when there is no one on the field in charge, the practice is apt to be listless and poor. Cook, the Yale coach, was in New Haven on Tuesday and watched the crew row. He is said to have been very much pleased with the form the men were showing and indicated that the arrangement of the men as they rowed was very likely to be final.
