With a view to developing their endurance Harold S. Ulen, coach of the University swimming team, assigned both University and Freshman candidates to a mile swim yesterday. Assisted by R. B. Muir, Ulen is supervising practice for both squads from 3 to 4 o'clock each afternoon.
