...University swimming team will oppose Amherst at 4 o'clock this afternoon at Northampton, and will try to make up for last year's defeat at their hands. There will be a great deal of interest in the clash between Brackett of the University and Damon of Amherst. These men took a victory apiece against each other at the last meeting, the former winning the 100-yard, and the latter the 50. Damon took second place in the 50-yard dash of the National Intercollegiates...
Williams College and the University basketball teams will meet this evening in Williamstown, in the first clash in basketball between the two colleges ever held. In a game with Colgate, the first of the Purple five's season, the New York university won 25-19. Doty '15, and Joseph Stubbs '20, all old Crimson letter men, know how to smash through a Harvard offense if any one does, and will make tomorrow's clash worth seeing, as well as putting the University seven to a rigid test...
With only two days remaining before Coach William H. Claflin '15 selects the Crimson hockey septet which will clash with the King's College team Saturday evening in the Boston Arena interest centers on the seven players most likely to be chosen from the wealth of experienced material at hand. Team A of the University squad when it lined up yesterday showed only one shift, that of it. W. Buntin '21 to the post of left center in place of H. B. W. Snelling '21. R. S. Humphrey '21 remained at point where he was advanced Tuesday and though...
