...crew itself, too, deserves a word of commendation. Not a cent was demanded by its captain or its members which was not absolutely necessary, not a dollar was spent either for useless show or added comfort. This certainly is an enviable record-for, as student supporters are apt to forget, the training of a crew is not child's play and calls for care and self sacrifice.
