Variety actually headlined: 'CURLEY THE CATERPILLAR' CLICKO. Norman Corwin, crack Workshop author-director, had adapted the play from a short story by a onetime CBS publicity writer, Lucille Fletcher, 28, Vassar graduate, Phi Beta Kappa and Daisy Chain girl.
