Denmark was awash with cartoons this week, as 17 newspapers republished controversial caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed to protest an alleged plot to murder a cartoonist. Wednesday's media defiance came a day after Denmark's security police (PET) arrested three men on suspicion of planning to murder one of the 12 cartoonists who drew caricatures of the Prophet for the newspaper Jyllands-Posten in 2005.
