Ninety-four was very slow and her work not at all brilliant but reasonably steady. Davis broke through the line and tackled well. Beals and Cabot were also strong in their tackling. The interference was good though with the weak team which Exeter put into the field, it was comparatively easy to make short gains of four or five yards at a time.
