Dalhousie punted out from Halifax's 25-yard line and the ball went into touch. No further score was made until near the end of the period, when Halifax's halfback broke away, after a scrimmage, and by good running and passing scored a touchdown. Dalhousie then braced and scored another touchdown, but interference was claimed and a scrimmage was allowed on Halifax's 5-yard line.
