The heroine is a little stilted but she knows so much about fishing that we can forgive her. "A Jack-Rabbit Chase" by Belle Hunt, is brisk and amusing. The leading article of the number is "Queens of the Trotting Track." It is chiefly statistics and is rather dull reading to one not particularly interested in the subject.
