Please refer to page 26 of the May 24 issue of TIME. In this list of automobile terms the only brand name that you have included is that of our product "Du Pont Duco." In a way, I suppose we should be flattered, but on the other hand we are spending thousands of dollars in advertising the fact that "There is Only One Duco?DU PONT Duco" in order to protect the buying public against substitution. It does not seem, therefore, as though anyone responsible for the editorial content of a publication such as TIME, should permit this misuse...

The editor of a large women's magazine long maintained that it would not be delicate to publish the advertisements. Finally, after one of many conferences, the promoter of Kotex asked the editor for permission to speak with his female secretary, in his presence. The surprised editor acceded and after a few minutes of frank sensible talk, during which the secretary appeared in no wise offended but on the contrary pleased, enthusiastic, the advertising was accepted for publication...

Captain R. D. Pinkerton '27, at back for the winners, displayed a brilliant brand of horsemanship and stick handling which was largely responsible for many of the University tallies. In the fourth chukker the University captain cut loose with the most spectacular shot of the game when he scored unassisted from far down the field. Alexander Shaw '28 at number one and R. B. Burnett '27, number three turned in brilliant exhibitions of polo and aided largely in the Crimson point gathering. For the losers J.
