Harvard Dining Services (HDS) might not be signing with PepsiCo after all. The deal with PepsiCo is in limbo because PepsiCo officials are unhappy with some details in the contract, according to Brian R. Blais '97, vice president of the council.
"[My blockmates and I] did it a few times last year, and we enjoyed it a lot," says Knox, who since September has shared the duty with Brian R. Blais '97, Michael A. Cress '97 and Rolland W. Ho '97.
Constitutional amendments require yes votes from three-fourths of the council's membership for approval, so Vice President Brian R. Blais '97 will employ phone voting to complete the poll.
According to Comptroller Brian R. Blais '97, the conference is expected to generate a net profit of $30,000 to $40,000 for the Harvard International Relations Council.
The aim, according to Blais, is "not to let people fall through the cracks, leading to incidents like [the murder-suicide] at Dunster House."
