While we feel what a fearful loss the death of co operation would be to Harvard, nevertheless we do not propose to defend the management of the Co-operative Society. With so much work on their hands the question naturally rises; "What means of recreation and pleasure do the students enjoy? They have the advantage of easy access to all the public amusements which a large city like Boston affords, but beyond that their means are limited. Not having any regular athletic grounds, their opportunities for out-of-door games are rather poor.
