Last Friday afternoon the Yale Infirmary was formally opened to the public. All the rooms and the hallway are hard-finished, the floors being of hard pine covered with rugs. The dining room, reception room and parlor are on the lower floor; the basement contains the kitchen and a servant's dining room. The second and third floors will be devoted to the patients.
