Over the past two years, the Faculty has sought to make study abroad a more natural part of a Harvard College education, creating a new Office of International Programs and asking concentrations to facilitate a semester abroad. To lower one barrier to study abroad, the Core Standing Committee reduced the Core requirement by one area for each full term of study abroad.
