Harvard made her first run in the third inning, on a wild throw by Long and Hovey's base hit. In the fourth a base on balls, Upton's scratch hit and Cook's sacrifice brought in another. In the fifth Harvard earned a run by Dean's three-bagger to right and Hallowell's hit to the pitcher. In the eighth three bases on balls in succession and an error by Nash let in one more.
