...versatile, or how heralded our Harvard team may be, Yale always puts on the field against us a team that is 100 per cent stronger in football ability, in fighting qualities and staying powers than at any other time during the season. There is no man in Harvard's backfield today who can "touch" Percy Wendell, none is better than Ham Corbett, and the quarterbacks are no better than those of 1910. Injuries may come at any time or the same unaccountable, unfathomable feeling may permeate this year's team that subconsciously enshrouded the team of 1910 after a disappointing...

...second touchdown came after a 30-yard getaway by McKinlock, and a series of line plunges in which Bettle figured conspicuously. The final score was made by Rollins on a fake kick formation, similar to the ones effectively used by Mahan, and Brickley. The University team's season has been a series of defeats, but their late development has been rapid and they should show up well against the opposing eleven. Besides the team as given below, substitutes F. S. Hopkins, D. F. Fenn, Managers Storms and Chittenden, and Coach Burgess will...

Yesterday he was not in football clothes, but followed the work of the squad from the side-lines. His return to the line-up means that fast plays will become far more successful, for Mahan is the key to almost every formation that depends on speed. During his absence, his place has been filled by Bradlee...
