Professor Jean Jacques Haffner, at the School of Architecture, has been awarded the Legion of Honor by the French War Office for his service with the French Army during the war, it was announced yesterday. M. Haffner entered the French Army as a Lieutenant of Engineers on August 1, 1914, and served in the front line continuously until December, 1917, with the exception of nine months spent in a hospital recovering from wounds received in action.
