His facial expressions are spastic and he looks positively lumpish on screen. Amanda Peet looks embarrassed most of the time she is on screen with him—and she’s had to work with Mathew Perry (twice!). And, unfortunately, “A Lot Like Love” has a screen play riddled with so many clichés that it desperately needs all consuming chemistry from its leads...
